Hanh Nguyen
Hanh Nguyen is a senior contributor and a cultural advisor. After completing a Bachelor of Medical Science from Western Sydney University, she discovered a passion for acting and dancing as well as film and theatre production. In late 2017, Hanh successfully managed the sound and lighting cues for two plays - “I Love You” by Sage Godrei and “The Gloveman” by Chris Naylor. Also in 2017, Hanh became one of the ambassadors for “Weaving a Realm”, a project by the Vietnam Centre, a Sydney based non-profit organisation with the purpose of promoting Vietnamese culture to the world. In 2018, Hanh had the leading role in "Bonjour Saigon", a dramatic musical set in 1960's Vietnam. In 2019, Hanh was the events manager for "Present from the past", an exhibition inspired by Vietnamese culture in the last dynasty of Nguyen. In January 2020, Hanh contributed to and appeared in Walk Now Productions play, "Shades of Light". In November 2020, Hanh was elected to the prestigious role of Vice President of the Vietnam Centre Australia. In January 2021, Hanh co-wrote and had a lead role in Walk Now Productions' short film "Capt.S and Nightcat". She has a naturalistic warmth and authenticity, and brings her own sensibility to the characters she portrays. In February 2022, Hanh curated the Vietnamese Centre's Happy New Tét exhibition in Canberra, which was attended by the Vietnamese Ambassador. Hanh is currently working in her new chosen field after studying for an Honours Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Erica Long
Erica Long is an Australian/Taiwanese actor who has acted in numerous feature films, including “The Casting Game” (2017), “The Script of Life” (2019) and “Bloodshot Heart” (2020). Erica has appeared in Tsu Shan Chambers’ digital series, “The Wild Orchards” (2017), which generated 9 award nominations at LA Web Fest 2018 and she has worked on a number of short films, including “The Ghost of Kelly Winters” (created by Talin Agon) (2018), “Kissing Gourami” (2017) and “If” (2017). She was also one of the Executive Producers of Serhat Caradee’s feature film, “A Lion Returns” (2020) which was a finalist for the PKF Best Australian Film Award at the Gold Coast Film Festival, and has been nominated for Best Indie Film at the 2020 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards. Outside of acting, Erica is also a practising solicitor who specialises in employment law, having attained a Bachelor of Law/Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales. In January 2021, Erica co-wrote and had a lead role in a Walk Now Productions short film called "Capt.S and Nightcat". In February 2021, she directed her own short film called "The Pool". In November 2021, she produced Paul Matereke's short film "Beautiful Things". Erica is an MEAA Equity member.
Navid GhasemiNavid Ghasemi has been doing stage acting since he moved to Australia in 2013. He was part of Ayla Drama Group as an actor and sound designer for "The Ship of Fools" (2016). He got a role in "Drought and Lies" produced by Charsoo Theatre in 2017 and also was part of "The Spectator" as an actor, assistant director and sound designer in 2018 which was staged as part of Sydney Fringe Festival. He was one of the lead actors of "Ahl-e-hava", an art performance where the ancient 'Zar Ceremony' is brought to life, which has had a number of successful performances in 2019. Navid is an Engineer by profession and has studied business as well. However, he has been doing acting, painting, cinematography and photography since he was a young student. He practiced Daf (Persian traditional drum) with Bijan Kamkar and learned to play harmonica. To pursue his passion, he also completed a NIDA acting techniques course in Sydney. In January 2020, Navid contributed to and appeared in Walk Now Productions play, "Shades of Light". Navid has the ability to embody the character he portrays with the upmost conviction, morphing his own attributes into the character.
Isabella ForteIsabella Forte is a singer, actress and dancer who graduated from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre). Whilst at AIM, she played Cinderella’s Mother and Sleeping Beauty in "Into the Woods", directed by Tyran Parke. After graduating from AIM, Isabella starred in TVB productions short film called "PreGame" where she played the role of Izzy and also starred in a student film called "Girls Night In" where she played the role of Rachel which was produced by Sydney Film School. In 2018, Isabella was cast in the role of Connie in Teatro A Te's production of "Io, Mammeta e Tu", played the character Venus in a play by Dr Edward Spence called "Zeno’s Secret" and was in the Packemin production of "Legally Blonde" staged at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta. In 2019, Isabella appeared as Jimmie in the short film “Workin nights”, produced by TVB productions. In January 2020, Isabella contributed to and appeared in Walk Now Productions play, "Shades of Light". She has a delightful disposition and infectious enthusiasm as a performer. Isabella also works as a freelance music and voice teacher. Isabella is an MEAA Equity member.
Talin AgonTalin Agon is an actor, writer and producer from Sydney's northern beaches. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University, majoring in Theatre, Performance, and Literature, and is known for feature films such as "Life of the Party" (2017), "Life Class" (2016) and "Chimera" (2018). Talin appeared in the short film "Fenced" which took home the AACTA social shorts award for its heartfelt portrayal of the refugee experience in Australia. She studied acting at The New York Film Academy in LA and also at Paul Michael's The Network in NYC. Talin continued her studies in Sydney at The Actor's Pulse, and with vocal coach, Bill Pepper. She is the founder of Queen of the Jungle Productions, which has produced the short films "The Paper Rose", "The Ghost of Kelly Winters", and "Upsold". In January 2020, Talin contributed to and appeared in Walk Now Productions play, "Shades of Light". She has a gutsy, inner strength and displays this with genuine grit, always dramatically fighting for every moment on stage. During 2020, Talin produced three short films, including “Touch/Screen”, and she is currently in pre-production on her first feature film. In early 2021, Talin joined NIDA Open as a teacher, specialising in filmmaking for teens.

Helen Kim
Helen Kim is a Korean-Australian actress based in Sydney. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Drama & Theatre), and now works across screen and theatre. She is also a drama and dancing teacher. Her stage credits include Michal in "Through the Valley" and King’s Dancer in "The King and I". Helen beautifully embodied the character of Mai Kang in two seasons of "My Carer" for Walk Now Productions in 2018. From 2018-2020, Helen worked at the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) on their Storyville project, a school-based program which harnesses the talent of performers to encourage children to read. In 2021, Helen co-directed "The Theory of Relativity" for Whimsical Productions and appeared in King Cross Theatre's production of the David Henry Hwang play “Yellow Face”. Helen is a cultural adviser for Walk Now Productions as well as a media and marketing advisor. Helen is an MEAA Equity member.


Maria de Marco
Maria de Marco is a highly respected actor, director and producer. Maria portrayed Rebecca Hayden in two seasons of "My Carer" in 2018 for Walk Now Productions. She is a proud graduate of Theatre Nepean (Western Sydney University) and an MEAA Equity member since 1991. Theatre credits include Io, Mammeta e tu (Teatro a(r)te) which toured regional NSW; Jungle Book The Musical & Lulu (EMU Productions); Girls of the Reel, At The Crossroads & Empty Suitcases (all for Women On a Shoestring); A Long Time ‘Til Tea (Jigsaw Theatre Company); Emma - Celebrazione (Company B Belvoir); Looking For Alibrandi (2 x sold out seasons at the PACT Theatre); The Art Of Rubber (Sidetrack Performance Group); Blood Orange & Rap It Up (Death Defying Theatre). Behind the scenes, Maria has worked as a director/producer/playwright for various companies including EMU Productions, Speech and Drama Studio MLC, Opera Lounge, The 4th Wall Theatre Company, PACT Youth Theatre and Powerhouse Youth Theatre. Maria also works as a singing, voice, drama and performance teacher. In January 2020, Maria was the co-producer on "Shades of Light" for Walk Now Productions and in 2022, she performed in a cabaret at the El Rocco Room called "Back to M.A.", which she also wrote.

Jacob McLean
Jacob McLean is an actor and advisor, and in 2018, portrayed the role of James Hayden in two seasons of "My Carer". Jacob has always had a passion for theatre and at the age of sixteen he decided to leave the beautiful South Coast and move to Sydney to finish high school at Brent Street Performing Arts. He studied acting, singing and dance and finished with a Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2013. Jacob graduated from the Actors Centre Australia in 2017 where his highlight roles were Romeo in "Romeo & Juliet" and Yepikhodov in "The Cherry Orchard". Jacob has an acting ability and skill in portraying characters with determined intention while able to balance this with warmth and vulnerability. In 2018, Jacob starred as Omega in a comedy called "MARS: An Interplanetary Cabaret", a production that toured extensively throughout Australia. Jacob is an MEAA Equity member.
Leo SorbelloLeo Sorbello is our Acting Coach and directing advisor. He is a graduate of Hayes Gordon's Ensemble Studios Acting School and holds a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Directing from University of Western Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma in Education. As an actor for theatre, he has appeared in "The Crucible", "Sugar and Spice", "The Good Doctor", and "Once a Catholic" for the Ensemble Studios Rep Theatre; "Accommodations" at Riverside Theatre; "Latin Lovers" and "The Film Noir Play" at The Bondi Pavilion Theatre; "Reality Number 6" at The Pilgram Theatre; "The Collection" at The Fig Tree Theatre and as writer and performer of a one man play titled, "I'm Not a Comedian, I'm Lenny Bruce" at The Griffin Theatre and at La Mama Theatre (Melbourne). Leo has also appeared on television in "A Country Practice". As a Director, his credits include "'Night Mother", "Suddenly Last Summer", "This Property is Condemned", "A Handful of Friends", "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg", "The Summer of the 17th Doll", "All in the Timing", and "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress". Leo has taught acting at the Ensemble Studios Acting School (1987 -2008), master classes in Method Acting to drama teachers and, since 2007, to HSC students at Sydney Secondary College in Glebe.
Jenny WardJenny Ward is a co-producer and senior consultant at Walk Now Productions. Jenny is a highly respected and internationally recognised sound editor and has worked on over 40 feature-length productions including Kiss or Kill (1997), In A Savage Land (1999), King Kong (2005), Happy Feet (2006), Australia (2008), The Way Back (2009) and The Great Gatsby (2014). Jenny’s work has been recognised with many national and international nominations and awards, including an AACTA in 2014 for Best Sound for the film The Great Gatsby. Jenny has twice been part of an Academy Award winning team for the films King Kong and Happy Feet. Jenny was awarded the 2014 NSW Cinema Pioneer of The Year Award by The Society of Australian Cinema Pioneers, inducted in 2016 as a Life Member of the Australian Screen Editors guild (which she co-founded in 1996), and in 2017 received the prestigious Gold Honour Badge from the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) in recognition of her advocacy on behalf of her film and TV colleagues, including serving as the NSW Branch Vice-President of the MEAA for over 10 years. Jenny has taught editing and sound at the internationally recognised Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS) and been a guest film lecturer at The University of Sydney. Jenny continues to be an MEAA member and, since 2012, has proudly represented her colleagues as a Councillor on the Motion Picture Industry Benevolent Society's governing committee.

Anthony Kable
Anthony Kable is our composer and music advisor. He has a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Studies) from ANU in Canberra and has a Certificate in Music for Film and Television from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Anthony is a professional trombone player, composer and teacher. He has toured with Midnight Oil, Barbra Streisand and Silverchair, to name a few, and performed in the productions of "Matilda the Musical" and "Aladdin". He has toured Australia and New Zealand with Don Henley and was a featured soloist with the Sydney Symphony for its performance of the original score of the movie "La La Land", and worked in Hong Kong and China. Anthony composed the music for Rebecca Rochford-Davies’ short film "Pink Balloons" and wrote the brass arrangements for Mahalia Barnes’ album "Soul Mates". He composed the original music for "Turn Around and Look" (short film, 2008), and for the theatre productions "My Carer" (2018) and "Shades of Light" (2020). In January 2021, Anthony wrote the music for Walk Now Production's short film "Capt.S & Nightcat".
Carmelo NastasiCarmelo Nastasi is a Producer, Graphic Designer and Social Media Consultant at Walk Now Productions. He is a passionate creative, with a Masters Degree of Architecture from the University of Sydney, with an interest in social justice and volunteers his time working as a graphic artist for the UNSW Australian Human Rights Institute. In 2022, he was awarded the prestigious Good Design Award for his submission "Common Ground". At Walk Now, Carmelo worked as Graphic Designer, Director's Assistant and Stills Photographer on the short film “Capt. S & Nightcat”, and provided front-of-house support for both “My Carer” and “Shades of Light”. He is currently co-writing, producing and graphic designing a comic based on “Capt. S & Nightcat”. Carmelo is slated to work as the Set Designer and Consultant for future Walk Now stage productions.
Benjamin LingBenjamin Ling was born and raised in Canberra and developed an obsession with film after visiting his local DVD rental store every week during the summer breaks. With a strong passion and love for cinema and filmmaking, he attended UNSW and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media (Screen & Sound Production). Benjamin now works in Sydney as a freelance cinematographer. He has collaborated on a range of projects, from music videos to fashion shoots, and on narrative as well as branded content. In 2020, he won an FBI Radio SMAC award for the best music video for Dobby’s “I Can’t Breathe”. In January 2021, Benjamin was the Cinematographer and provided technical advice for Walk Now Production's short film "Capt.S & Nightcat". Some of his favourite genres include sci-fi, crime, thriller and cosmic horror.

Steve J De Souza
Steve J de Souza is our sound and music technician and has worked on all of our theatre productions and the short film "Capt.S & Nightcat". He is a freelance audio engineer, location sound recordist and music composer based in Sydney. He has been involved in music and sound design for the past 30 years, creating music for projects large and small. Steve is represented by AusCrew, an agency for professional film and television technicians. Steve is a member of the Australian Screen Sound Guild (ASSG). Steve recently won a prestigious NYCA 2020 Best Sound Award for his work on the feature film "Ayaia: Wrathful Soul".
Mark HopkinsMark Hopkins is our creative consultant and an advisor to Sam Cosentino (artistic director). Mark has a Bachelor of Arts (Film and Television) from Swinburne Film and Television School. He has written for children’s television as well as produced and directed a number of short films and instructional videos. His feature film script "The Smash Man" was nominated for the Australian Writers Guild 2009 Monte Miller Award, and Mark currently has a sci-fi feature film script in development with a producer and director. In his other life, Mark contributes to the monitoring of stream and river health around Sydney. He is a member of the Australian Writers Guild and a highly respected script editor and writer. Mark has an uncanny ability to flesh out special moments in a script and see unique qualities in an actor during auditions, qualities that others may not notice. Mark is a rare and gifted collaborator and we are proud to have him as part of the Walk Now team.
Yukie OkabeYukie Okabe is the newest member of our team. She is a Cultural Advisor with a background in music. Yukie graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Music), from the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, Japan. She also plays and teaches piano. In 2023, Yukie moved to Sydney to further her English language skills at the Greenwich English College and also trained as a barista at The CBD College. The owner of the college was so impressed with her skills, he employed her to teach at the prestigious Barista Basics College. In her spare time, Yukie volunteers at Wesley Mission in Sydney’s CBD, and occasionally plays the piano for the congregation.
Paul MaterekePaul Matereke is the co-founder of Treason Flowers Productions and a film writer, director, editor and composer. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney. Paul's 2017 documentary film "The Celluloid Domain" revolves around the work of the late Robert Herbert who was the Art Gallery of NSW's Film Curator for nearly 20 years. In 2018, Paul's short film “Buggin Out” was screened at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. This same year, Paul was commissioned to do a diverse range of projects including one for the Runway Journal (Australian Experimental Art's magazine), the Sydney Town Hall's Good Old Days Concerts and the Art Gallery of NSW’s Youth Collective Launch Video. In 2019, Paul directed "Blue Ribbons", a tribute to Sydney Park and the community members fighting for its survival amidst the massive WestConnex highway expansion. In 2020, Paul directed the videoclip for Grids & Dots' song "The Great Divide". In January 2021, he worked on "Capt.S & Nightcat" as part of the camera team. In November 2021, Paul wrote and directed his latest short film "Beautiful Things". Paul was the Sydney Film Festival's Short Film Programmer in 2021 and 2022.
